Perth

The Golden HeartLand
Kalgoorlie is the major centre of this region. The Golden Heartlands lies on the edge of the Nullarbor Plain. Inland the landscape is forbidding, while the coastline stretches out in long, empty beaches.

The Kimberleys and Unique North
This is a very large and diverse region. The beautiful mediterranean climate makes it an ideal place to visit at any time of the year. Once an important whaling township, Albany is a town of historic signficance in the region, it is also the site of the first European settlement in Western Australia. Margaret River is another remarkable town on the Southwest coast.
