The Great Ocean Road incorporates two of the most beautiful national parks in Australia. First there is the Otway National Park, which is flanked by towering forests on one side and steep cliffs and rugged ocean beaches on the other. This section of the Great Ocean Road presents one of the most unique contrasts of nature.

The Otway
Otway National Park is a fascinating adventure - raised boardwalks take you deep into primeval rain forest where you can see gullies crowded with tree ferns and ancient towering tress. You can camp at Blanket Bay, horse ride along Station Beach and marvel at the colour of Rainbow Falls. Swim or fish at the unspoilt Aire River.
Loch Ard Gorge
Port Campbell National Park which captures the true spirit of this historic coastline - the 'Shipwreck Coast'. At Loch Ard Gorge the poignant story of the shipwreck of the Loch Ard unfolds. The same rugged elements which caused the wrecks of hundreds of ships along this chave left other marks. The Twelvw Apostles at Port Campbell, a major coastal landmark, is testament to this.
