You can begin with a trip to the Wilpera pound where you can take a scenic flight or have a look at the old Wilpena Homestead. If road conditions permitting you can take a drive through the Aroona Valley and Brachina Gorge.
The Leigh Creek Coal fields are another place to visit where you can view one of the early drag lines and huge open cut mines. Deep into the Flinders Rangers lies Arkoola an untouched land only accesable by 4WD.

Accomadation in the Wilderness of Flinders Rangers is scarse, although camp sites are prevelant. Most accomadation consist of bread and breakfeast environments, however the people and food are great and make your stay unforgetable.
